Evidence

What it means when Buni says your child knows something

This is the part we are strictest about. A report that can overstate your child's ability is worse than no report.

Evidence is a record of one thing your child did: Every answer is stored with what was asked, whether your child spoke or tapped, and whether they managed it alone or with Buni's help.
Only unaided answers count toward knowing: If Buni gave a hint, narrowed the choices, or said the answer first and your child repeated it, that is recorded as help. It is real learning and it appears in the history — it just does not count as knowing it yet.
Saying it and pointing at it are tracked separately: Tapping the group of four shows recognition. Saying "four" out loud is a different, harder skill. Buni never lets one stand in for the other.
It needs to happen more than once, in more than one place: Something only moves to the unaided list after several correct answers across different situations and different days. One lucky tap is not knowing.
A model never decides what your child knows: The report is calculated from the recorded answers. The AI writes what Buni says; it does not grade your child.

Privacy and data

In plain language

There is no child login

You own the account. Your child uses a profile inside it that you set up and you pick.

No stored recordings, no voiceprint

When your child speaks, the audio is turned into text and discarded in the same request. We never build a voiceprint or any kind of voice identifier, and there are no photo or camera features anywhere in the product.

Never used to train models

Your child's answers are not used to train anyone's AI. Every provider we use is set to retain nothing.

Short retention, and real deletion

Transcripts are kept for at most thirty days and then purged automatically. If you delete your account, the rows and files are actually deleted.

You can export everything held about your child, or delete the account outright, from your settings at any time.
